Koi Net Cages - Floating

Floating Frames for Net Cages

The Net Cages frames are made from 40mm black polypropeylene pipe with 'Push Fit' elbows to allow quick and easy assembly and disassembly.
They are designed for use with our Hexamesh, Micromesh or Spawning Mesh Net Cages (see below)

Hexamesh Net Cages with Floating Cage Frame

Net cages are ideal for isolating fish temporarily within a pond or holding facility.

They can be used with our Net Cage Frames and poles or with purpose made support frames.

The Hexamesh is best suited to larger fish as small koi can suffer fin damage from entrapment in the mesh. For small fish please use Micomesh Cages

Micromesh Net Cages With Floating Cage frame

Net cages in Micromesh are ideal for isolating smaller fish. The fine mesh helps to prevent fin damage while the fish are held temporarily within a pond or tank.

They can be used with our Net Cage Frames and poles or with purpose made support frames.

Spawning Net Cages with Floating Cage Frame

Net cages in Spawning Mesh can be used to isolate fish for spawning. A media needs to be introduced within the cage to encourage egg laying.

The parent fish can then be removed and the cage used as a hatchery and growing facility for the newly hatched fry.

They can be used with our Net Cage Frames and poles or with purpose made support frames.

(N.B. Provisions must be made to ensure the fry receive an adequate supply of oxygenated and filtered water.)
